Yesterday we had start to shoting the first frames for the movie where I will play my own role.

In the movie will be presented the last three years of my life on music stage, but also in personal life.. more exactly, as i evolved in music.. I’ve been through.. collaborations.. then decay.. health problems.. depression.. deterrent.. surgerys.. etc.

Back to life.. back on music stage.. and more !

I wish myself a “Welcome” in life and on music stage, from next week, the Trance Update radio show will re-start/broadcast again, was 2 months very exhausting and painful, and I must admit that my recovery after surgery is not yet complete, because in October I have another eye surgery, but .. does not get raises, the radio show will not be interrupted, because I arranged to be all right and my show to continue even if a few weeks I will be unavailable.

Hello my dear listener ! I'm glad to give you a good news! Today May 26, 2011, my first rework of this year is out to light! Usually i'm not modest, and I hope you do not see me a modest man at the moment, but all I can say .. is that I love this mashup and rework.. almost a year I did not do as good a combination between 2 tracks,  after one year.. finally i got a good moment to create something.. Micky Slim's excellent job for the original mix, Marc Spence very good for the dubstep remix, Emma Hewitt, you have a briliant and formidable voice...

As i promised, i will give you every month new information regarding my health, but because of my evolution disease, i can’t come up with new specs, just after 6 months. For unclear reasons, the doctors couldn’t certainly make a diagnosis, neither for the next weeks because the disease obstinate to show.

This is an official communication from Maarten Sikke   Dear organizers and radio stations,Today February 21, 2011 I decided to announce my retirement for a temporary period.Because of my personal health problems, i'm not able to work in the music industry, and also my doctors advised me to take a break until my health problems are clarified.I hope this withdrawal will take between two or three months, but it could take even longer, so I will come every month with new information on the TranceUpdate.com blog.Also, The Mad Cats project, will continue without me, and i will be replaced by my good friend and mate, Nameless, also the Trance Update radio...
